With an MS in city and regional planning and a writing and community development background to TRA, Lauri supports rail state safety oversight and rail transit agencies with accident investigations, audits, corrective actions, and safety plan compliance.

Ms. Kochis is a project analyst currently assigned to the State Safety Oversight (SSO) programs within the District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services (DCFEMS), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and the West Virginia Department of Transportation – Division of Multimodal Transportation Facilities – Public Transit (WVDOT-DMTF-PT). Ms. Kochis supports these clients in all areas of SSO program management, including regulatory compliance with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), audits and inspection programs, accident investigations, hazard management, and corrective action plans (CAPs).
