Mr. Jansen has two decades of experience in transit and railroad operations and commercial management with experience of both commuter-rail, heavy-rail subway, and light-rail transit systems. His experience includes working in safety and security compliance in both the United States and United Kingdom, across multiple regulatory authorities. His expertise with State Safety Oversight (SSO) program management, includes regulatory compliance, audits and inspection programs, accident investigations, hazard management, and corrective action plans. Mr. Jansen has a professional background in rail transportation, with experience including, but not limited to the areas of, information strategy, business development, change management, shared service centers, control center operations, safety assurance, rules compliance, training programs, employee fitness for duty, wayfinding, and safety promotion. Mr. Jansen has managed the process for shared services through business process outsourcing, providing significant cost savings across multiple agencies. He has worked with transit and railroad facilities of all sizes, from large heavy rail subway and commuter-rail operations to light rail transit systems and small bus operations. Mr. Jansen regularly provides clients with management process support in the areas of safety, security, and business development and provides subject matter expertise in rail operations and control.
