TRA provided a technical assessment of safety, operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance at the Port of New York and New Jersey, the busiest port on the East Coast and the third-busiest in the USA, on behalf of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ).
TRA assessed PANYNJ’s key rail freight locations, including the Port Newark Container Terminal, ExpressRail Elizabeth, Howland Hook, and New York New Jersey Rail. The TRA team conducted a concentrated assessment of field operations, field maintenance conditions, training records, maintenance documentation, and plans and procedures for all critical activities.
