TRA conducted detailed assessments of threats, risks, and vulnerabilities to assets, infrastructure, and facilities on behalf of Transport Canada, throughout the following Canadian transit systems: Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), Mississauga Transit, Brampton Transit, Halifax Regional Municipality – Metro Transit, British Columbia Transit, and Strathcona Transit.
The TRA Team analyzed Transport Canada’s security program requirements and conducted on-site analyses and interviews with selected key personnel. TRA created detailed reports that prioritized security investments for each of these transit systems, and oversaw development of customized comprehensive security plans that included emergency preparedness, security training, and security planning.
