TRA conducted a systemwide Transit Risk Assessment Module (TRAM) for the New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJT). TRA worked hand in hand with NJT’s Police and Intelligence departments to identify the most critical areas of the system, examining and assessing over 100 critical assets pertaining to their heavy rail, light rail and bus services including administration and maintenance facilities.
This assessment required the team to provide expertise related to system criticality, threat, vulnerability, consequence and resiliency, evaluating the risk of terrorism or other violent attacks involving all NJT assets, its employees, its customers, and the region.
