TRA provided technical input and project assistance to MARTA as it solicited, selected, and on-boarded a contractor to perform passenger eligibility assessments for its Mobility paratransit service. TRA worked directly with the MARTA transformation team, represented MARTA’s Operations executives, and worked with other key departments such as Facilities, IT, and Procurement.
TRA assisted the transformation team in developing and vetting key documents, such as startup plans and implementation schedules. TRA also helped MARTA evaluate submittals, resumes, and schedules from the new eligibility contractor. TRA completed a parallel project, assisting MARTA in outsourcing its paratransit operations and maintenance service, and helped MARTA to bridge that project and the new eligibility contractor.
