TRA served as the security and emergency preparedness subject matter expert in support of the contractor for the New Britain to Hartford CTfastrak Bus Rapid Transit Project.
In addition to ongoing security and emergency preparedness support, TRA developed the system’s Security Emergency Preparedness Plan and served as the exercise leader for conducting the agency tabletop drill and full scale exercise. TRA also provided support and assistance to CTfastrak’s safety and security certification efforts in the run-up to revenue service.
